Top Email Questions.

Q: I can't send but I can receive email?

A: You must have "My outgoing server requires authentication" checked. see email support

Q: Can I get my email via the web?

A: Yes type in mail.yourdomain.com, replace "yourdomain" with your domain name.

Q: I am at a hotel and cannot send out mail, why?

A: Many hotels and ISP's require you to use them for outbound mail, please contact your internet provider and ask for the SMTP/outgoing server address. Use webmail if all else fails, it will always work since it is a website and not SMTP. visit mail.yourdomain.com

Email Support

The single most common reason for email not working is not putting your full email address in the account name field. Using myname instead of myname@mydomain.com will cause it to fail.

If you have completed this setting and it still doesn't work you may need to contact your ISP to see if they allow you to use an outbound SMTP server other than theirs. This is a known issue with many dialup companies and Earthlink
